Head of the Power Supply Department of Ukrzaliznytsia state railway operator Valerii Liudmyrskyi has been kidnapped in Kyiv.
Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.As reported, the executive was kidnapped at around 9:10 p.m. July 18, as he was walking his dog in one of Kyiv's residential districts. The dog was shot dead, the police found five shell casings at the scene.

The abduction may be linked to his professional activities, according to Ukrzaliznytsia spokesperson Danylo Vakhovskyi.
"We know what we learnt from the National Police - that he was abducted in such a bold way. To make the things clear, I want to note that his department is responsible for energy supplies. It's engaged in capital investment which is a very important function," he said.
