Capital police served a notice of suspicion to a woman who opened fire in the courtyard of a residential building and wounded a man.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Kyiv Police Communications Department.
As noted, the Sviatoshyn police department received a report from an ambulance doctor that a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his arm and abdomen was found in an apartment on Akademik Koroliov Avenue in Kyiv and hospitalized.
Details of the incident
As the police found out, the man made a remark about the loud behavior of a group of women and men who were resting near his house. During the conflict, one of the women pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the victim, after which she fled the scene.
Detention and suspicion
- According to the police, operatives, together with analysts from the criminal analysis sector, identified a 43-year-old local resident and detained her under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
- During a search at the suspect's residence, police seized a gun and ammunition, which have now been sent for examination.
- Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Sviatoshyn District Prosecutor's Office, served the offender a notice of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years in prison.
