First Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Kryvenko held talks on global nuclear security issues with a U.S. delegation in Kyiv on Monday, Aug. 8.
As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine, the working meeting of Kryvenko with Council member of U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee Jonathan S. Epstein and Principal Director for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy of the United States Department of Defense James P. Finch was held in the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine within the Program for global nuclear security of Ukraine."The parties discussed implementation of a joint project on inclusion of the system of physical nuclear security for Ukraine into global supply system of physical nuclear safety, as well as other directions of cooperation," the message reads.
