In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast, on the night of 1 July, a bridge near Kremenivka on the Mariupol–Donetsk road – which was of vital importance for the logistics of Russian troops – was completely destroyed.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Centre for the Study of the Occupation.
The occupiers blocked traffic
According to Andriushchenko, the bridge sustained critical damage after being hit and was completely destroyed.
As a result, the Russian military has blocked traffic from the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol towards Donetsk.
The occupiers are currently diverting traffic via Kremenivka.
According to Andriushchenko, this adds a further 15–20 kilometres to the route towards Mariupol.
