Russians attacked Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions with drones: damage has been reported. PHOTOS

Russian drones have attacked the Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions. In the Zhytomyr region, lorries caught fire as a result of the attack, whilst in the Cherkasy region, debris from a Russian drone damaged residential buildings, a business premises and a power line.

Lorry fires in the Zhytomyr region

According to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, a fire broke out on the premises of a private business following an enemy attack. Four lorries and three semi-trailers caught fire.

Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene and extinguished the blaze.

According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack.

Four drones shot down in Cherkasy region

The enemy has been attacking the Cherkasy region for the second day running. During this time, air defence forces have shot down four Russian UAVs, according to Ihor Taburets, head of the Regional Military Administration.

In the Zolotonosha district, debris from an enemy target damaged the windows of four residential buildings, the premises of a private enterprise and a local power line.

The power supply to consumers has already been restored.
