In Sumy, a Russian drone attacked ambulances on hospital grounds. Two ambulances, a civilian car and the entrance to the hospital were damaged.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the attack, two ambulances, a private car and the entrance to the hospital were damaged.
No one was injured.
"The vehicles were clearly marked. The Russians knew exactly where they were targeting. This is yet another deliberate crime by Russia against those who save lives," emphasised Grigorov.
In the Sumy region, 14 people were injured as a result of Russian attacks
In the Sumy community, 13 people sustained injuries as a result of Russian shelling over the past 24 hours. Two further victims sought medical assistance following the attack on 27 August, according to the regional police.
In particular, 12 residents of the community – men aged between 23 and 65 and two women aged 47 and 67 – were injured by strikes from Russian multiple launch rocket systems. Another 40-year-old man sustained injuries as a result of a strike by a Russian drone.
In addition, a 15-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman sought medical attention. They sustained injuries on 27 August as a result of guided aerial bombs striking the Sumy community.
The Russian attacks also caused damage to civilian and industrial infrastructure, residential buildings, vehicles, warehouses, administrative and utility buildings.
In the Konotop and Shostka districts, civilian infrastructure, residential and administrative buildings, as well as utility buildings, were damaged.
