Ddetachments of marines and coastal missile and artillery troops of the Ukrainian Navy continue holding drills in the southern regions of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The drills feature rapid accomplishment of missions, constantly changing environment and locations. The experience of units that took part in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the territory of Ukraine's eastern regions is actively used in the exercises.

The marines and coastal artillery troops in conjunction with naval aviation and aircraft of other branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are drilling protection of critical infrastructure, anti-airborne measures, neutralizing sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and countering tactical airborne assaults in particular areas.

In addition, the participants of the exercise carry out airborne envelopment, raids, strike warfare, reconnaissance and search operations, as well as protect the sea coast using various types of weapons.
