Heavenly Hundred heroes commemorated by presidential family. PHOTOS
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko, his wife Maryna and their children commemorated the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred that were killed in bloody events of EuroMaidan in February 2014, on the 25th anniversary of Ukraine' Independence.
The head of state and the first lady placed lamps at the commemoration Cross on the place of the killings that claimed lives of Ukrainians in their fight for democracy and the European future of the country, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the president.The participants of the ceremony observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen Ukrainian heroes.


The ceremony was also attended by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
