Petro Poroshenko presented the Orders of Gold Star to the mothers of two fallen anti-terrorist operation (ATO) fighters soldier Ihor Branovytskyi and Captain Serhii Kolodii.

"Ukrainian warriors are an example of freedom-loving, sacrificial and undefeated Ukrainian spirit inherited from generations of heroic Ukrainian chivalry. We live, breathe and reform our country thanks to their self-sacrifice. We must always remember that," Poroshenko emphasized and dwelt on heroic feats of Branovytskyi and Kolodii.

"Luckily, these heroes have already become characters of legends, books and movies. It is crucial that the future generations of Ukrainians grow up with examples of such heroes," the president said.
