The Congress on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda creation is held at the International Culture and Arts Center (former Zhovtnevyi Palace) on the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv.

As reported by MP Andrii Ilienko, about 2,000 delegates,plus invited guests, are expected to attend the congress. According to the lawmaker, it is a festive gathering that implies no decision-making.

A fair for tasting traditional Ukrainian cuisine and purchase of nationalist literature has been organized at the entrance to the Cultural Center hosting the Congress. In addition, an exhibition illustrating Svoboda activists' participation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), decommunisation and others activities is held around the cultural center.

The event is accompanied by the Kyiv Municipal Academic Orchestra playing patriotic Ukrainian songs.

The Communist Party flag has been laid at the entrance to the Cultural Centre hosting the Congress so that the delegations entering the building walk all over it. The display of photographs dedicated to Svoboda's 25th anniversary is held on the cultural center's second floor.
