Russian militants shelled Avdiivka, hit residential neighborhood, cemetery. PHOTOS

The Russian terrorist forces’ artillery strike impacted residential neighborhood of Avdiivka (Donetsk region) and the local cemetery. No casualties inflicted.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center, the area subjected to shelling was covered with craters from 152 and 122 mm projectiles as well as 120 and 82 mm mortar shells. The examination of the places of impact indicated that the enemy carried out the attack from the direction of the villages of Yakivlivka and Mineralne as well as the Donetsk airport.

The damage was inflicted to the residential houses including several high-rise buildings at Koroliova and Soborna Streets. Several monuments, tombstones, and grave fences were also damaged at the nearby cemetery.
