Thousands of teachers rally outside Ukrainian parliament. PHOTOS

The traffic on the Hrushevskoho Street in downtown Kyiv was partially blocked today as the teachers were heading towards the Verkhovna Rada to protest against the utility tariffs increase and demand to raise teachers' salaries.

Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

As noted, a column of several thousand teachers moved down Hrushevskoho Street and the city park alley.

As reported earlier, Chornobyl victims holding rally outside the Ukrainian parliament broke through the police cordon and continued protesting at the entrance to the building. The Chornobyl survivors later tried to storm the entrance to the building of the Verkhovna Rada but were stopped by the police.
