The exercise of the Ukrainian marines held in Lviv region Nov. 23 was attended by the U.S. Armed Forces delegation headed by Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Curtis Michael Skaparotti.
Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.The main purpose of the U.S. delegation visit was to verify results of training provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the international instructors of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine.

The U.S. officials observed drills of one of the companies of the 80th Separate Assault Airborne Brigade. The Ukrainian troopers exercised mopping up a village and hostages release under the direction of the U.S. instructors.



The U.S. delegation also attended the firearms training and observed platoon operations using standard weapons and military equipment.
Commander of the United States European Command General Skaparotti talked to the Ukrainian troopers undergoing training at the shooting ground, promoted and awarded the U.S. military instructors for a meritorious service.
