The city of Rostov-on-Don in Russia is seeing increased safety measures due to the scheduled questioning and news conference of fugitive Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych.

Police guards the entire perimeter of the regional court building where Yanukovych will be questioned. In addition to police officers, extremism fighters are seen in the area.
"There are more policemen here now than they were during the Savchenko trial," STB reporter Aliona Lunkova commented.




The press will not be allowed to the hall where Yanukovych will be questioned. The media representatives will watch the procedure in another room via conference call.
