Two boats succesfully tested in Ukraine. PHOTOS

The boats Akkerman and Berdiansk have traveled more than 2,000 nautical miles and conducted more than 20 firing exercises over air, sea and ground targets from all kinds of weapons over the past year.

Censor.NET reports citing Ukraine Today, referring to the Defense Ministry press service.

According to the exercise plan, the boats successfully shelled the targets imitating coastal frontier defense and armored vehicles, vessels and air offence units of the simulated enemy, the statement reads.

The gunboats will join the constant combat readiness forces of the Ukrainian navy.

Meanwhile, the day one of the awaited missile-firing exercises in the southern Ukraine has been reported successful.
