Ukraine tested airborne and land unmanned systems on Dec. 9.
This was announced by NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov on Honcharivske firing range in the Chernihiv region after the tests, Censor.NET reports citing the NSDC press service.

"Unmanned technologies are an important direction of weapons and hardware development for our Armed Forces. They allow for broad range of reconnaissance and combat activities, and for saving lives of our military, which is very important for us," Turchynov said.

"These systems are what our military at the frontline await," the NSDC secretary said. Turchynov added these systems will be slightly improved and tested in combat activities in spring of 2017.
