Today, Dec. 27, relatives and friends in Kyiv said their last goodbyes to fighter of the 54th Mechanized Brigade Serhii 'Vidmak' Rubanchykov, killed on Dec. 22 at Svitlodarsk salient fighting.

The ceremony was held in a church at Shevchenkivska district hospital of Kyiv, Censor.NET reports.

Relatives, friends, and comrades came to say goodbye to Serhii.

Rubanchykov was 37 and single. He was very close with his brother and his family.

Serhii's brother Volodymyr Doroshenko is a fighter of Ukrainian Volunteer Army. He recalls Rubanchykov:

"Serhii was never for himself. When my son was born and we had some difficulties, he did his best to help is. Probably, he loved my son, his nephew, the most. He spent more time with my son than I did. Serhii would never complain and always stayed calm.".
