Personnel of a military base in the Kherson region mainly consisting of conscripts took part in scheduled drills.
As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the main objective of the drills was to provide the detachments with policing practice and skills to efficiently secure and defend a perimeter. The servicemen were also trained to detain trespassers and repel armed attacks. Both anti-terrorist operation veterans and soldiers who were trained in training centers took part in the exercise.
The soldiers also demonstrated their first aid skills during drills.

The officer in charge of the training said following the exercise that the conscripts acted swiftly and confidently giving the imaginary saboteurs no chance to perform their combat mission.
"The soldiers acquired the necessary experience of acting in conditions close to reality. Such method allows the soldiers to test their skills in protection and defense of military facilities," the officer said.
