Epiphany 2017: Ice-hole plunging in Kyiv. PHOTOS
Orthodox Christians and Greek Catholics celebrate Epiphany today, Jan. 19.
It is believed that on the Epiphany day the water has healing properties, Censor.NET reports.By tradition, many believers plunge into icy holes. There are several locations in Kyiv specially equipped for that purpose.
Censor.NET publishes a photo report about how Ukrainians bathed in holes in one of the most popular places for ice swimmers known as Hidropark.










According to a custom, one has to plunge into the water thrice.
