Local residents in Donetsk, Makiivka and Horlivka have been herded outside to take part in the funeral of assassinated militant chieftain Givi.
Censor.NET reports citing LIGA.net referring to local sources.Some higher educational institutions have cancelled classes for students to ensure a turnout.

"Many would go after being told verification lists will be used. I personally won't go as they seek to create images for Russian media," one of the students said.


The so-called public servants of Donetsk have been "obliged" to appear at the farewell ceremony.
"Otherwise, they were told they would be fired," Donetsk resident Olha said.
She added that all her colleagues were asked to gather outside the Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theater from 10 a.m. to noon.
"At the moment, some 1,000 people gathered at the Donbas Opera building. They formed a line along the main Artema Street," separatist media reported in the morning.
The temperature in eastern Ukraine has now dropped to 15 degrees Celsius below frost.
Mikhail "Givi" Tolstykh was eliminated in Makiivka on Feb. 8. He will be buried in the cemetery near the Donetsk reservoir not far from the grave of another infamous terrorist warlord Motorola.
