National Dignity March taking place in Kyiv downtown. PHOTOS
In the morning of Feb. 22, the National Dignity March is taking place in the center of Ukraine's capital.
This is reported by Censor.NET correspondent.The March has been organized by the following political forces: Svoboda, Right Sector, and National Corps. It is mostly attended by young people. Many are carrying party flags and the national flags of Ukraine.
The column is headed by Svoboda leader Oleh Tiahnybok, Right Sector head Andrii Stempytskyi, and National Corps leader and MP Andrii Biletskyi.






Several hundred police officers are securing the order.
Several streets in Kyiv's downtown are closed, including Instytutska between Sadova and Nebesnoi Sotni Alley. Bankova Street is closed from Instytuska Street. The security in the governmental block has been enhanced. The area is monitored by police officers with dogs and explosives detecting devices.





The building of the Verkhovna Rada is heavily guarded by police and National Guard units.
