On Tuesday, Feb. 28, a rally of solidarity with political prisoners in Crimea, in particular the Crimean Tatars, took place outside Russia's embassy in Warsaw.
Censor.NET reports citing Polske Radio.Holding banners "Free Crimea" and "Crimea-Warsaw -- common cause," people gathered outside the Russian embassy to proceed to the embassy of Ukraine, where they met with Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia.
Nedim Useinov, a member of the Coordination Council of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, recalled as he spoke outside Russia's embassy that Feb. 26 was the Day of Resistance to Russia's occupation of Crimea.
"Despite already the third anniversary of the occupation and annexation of Crimea, we, the Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, and our friends around the world, will never accept this and will never stop fighting for free and Ukrainian Crimea," Useіnov said.
