Female brown bear named Bona, 28, died in Kyiv zoo. She was the oldest zoo’s brown bear.
Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the zoo.According to the zoo staff, bears and skunks have already emerged from hibernation while water turtles, lizards and all kinds of frogs are expected to do so in a month. Elephant Horas, zebras, hyenas, nilghai, and lions already walk outside their winter cages. The visitors can soon see giraffes, ostriches and hippo named Bigi at the open air as well.







With the advent of spring, the veterinarians were forced to heal lemurs, which had hurt each other during mating games. Some birds start building nests, some animals nurture their breed.
Zoo's oldest female brown bear named Bona died at the age of 28.

Besides, the veterinarians successfully operated a tiger from the Lviv Zoo.
