Speaker Parubii suspends Verkhovna Rada meeting over blocked rostrum. VIDEO+PHOTO

The parliament speaker intends putting to vote the appointment of the NABU auditor after the break.

As reported by a correspondent for Censor.NET, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andrii Parubii has suspended the parliament meeting.


He made this decision after the lawmakers had blocked the rostrum in the session hall.

The rostrum was blocked by members of Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Mustafa Nayyem, Serhii Leshchenko, and Svitlana Zalishchuk; Samopomich and Radical Party MPs; and Deputy Speaker Oksana Syroid.

Samopomich and Radical Party members requested to suspend the meeting for half an hour before the lawmakers blocked the rostrum.
