A monument to the prominent Ukrainian poetess Olena Teliha, recently installed in Babyn Yar, was doused with red paint last night.

The head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) Bohdan Chervak wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Undoubtedly, it is a provocation not only against the OUN and Olena Teliha, but against Ukraine and Ukrainian people,'' Chervak wrote.

''The police must find the perpetrators. Vandals should be punished,'' he added.
