Cadets of military intelligence and special forces departments took part in an An-26 parachute jumping exercise at the Chornomorskyi training range in Ukraine's southern Odesa region.
Censor.NET reports citing the Defense Ministry press service.The jumping was performed from an An-26 aircraft at 800 meters height with paratroopers in full gear and using D-6 parachutes. The exercise also involved gathering at the landing site, terrain orientation and disguised advancement to the facilities of a hypothetical enemy.





In the near future, the cadets are going to perform water landing from a Mi-8 helicopter and practice the evacuation of a group with the help of Adapter-M1 removable on-board equipment.




The cadet's curricular involves six to seven parachute jumps in one year and 40 jumps during the entire training period.
