The amber was seized during a search of local businessmen.

Law enforcement officers seized more than a ton of raw amber in the city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Censor.NET reports citing the prosecutor's office in the Volyn region.

It is reported that raw amber was confiscated during searches of facilities rented by a group of local residents suspected of illegal trafficking of the stone.The investigation continues.
