Around 300 fighters of the National Guard with support of aviation, artillery, and mortars trained to conduct reconnaissance and counter the saboteur activities of the enemy.
National Guard's press officer Vadym Holub wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.The trainees were able to see operations by NGU aviation, with airborne drops and evacuation of wounded; to conduct fire exercised with D-30 howitzer, 80 mm and 120 mm mortars; to see operation of artillery units.
"The skills to evacuate wounded they learned during the training might be used not only in the ATO [anti-terrorist operation -ed.] area, but in peaceful life as well," says NGU commander, Lieutenant General Yurii Allerov.
