People's deputy Nestor Shufrych has arrived at the Shevchenkivskyi District Court for a hearing to choose a pre-trial measure for his son Nestor Shufrych Jr.
A Censor.NET correspondent reports from the courtroom.The lawmaker declined to comment on the issue and promised to talk to the press after the court session.



The prosecutor's office demands twenty-four-hour house arrest for Shufrych Jr.
On Aug. 27, son of Opposition Bloc lawmaker Nestor Shufrych, Nestor, hit a man on a pedestrian crossing. The victim was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
A video of first aid being given to the injured pedestrian was published online.
Following the incident, the police instituted a proceeding while the victim remains unconscious and in serious condition.
Shufrych Jr has been served an indictment.
