The situation at the front is extremely critical, and it is obvious to everyone that the main problem that prevents us from winning the war is the irresponsibility and incompetence of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Office. We can create innovative solutions on the battlefield, but we cannot scale our successful work due to the lack of centralized management at the highest level.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy talks about victory but does not even control the implementation of his orders.
The most obvious example is drones. We are inferior in ammunition, artillery, aircraft, tanks, and the number of infantry - the only tool to create a technological advantage is drones. Under public pressure, in the third year of the war, a decision was made to create the Unmanned Systems Forces, but there was still no implementation. The chain of command has not been established, the new commander has not been given authority, many people are responsible for budgets, and no one at the top is responsible for the ultimate goal to increase the number of liquidations of the occupiers and their equipment. That's why they are not interested in results, only in money. Soon, I will write in more detail about how and who is responsible for the failure of the loudly proclaimed creation of unmanned systems forces.
Under public pressure, in the third year of the war, a decision was made to build fortifications. The implementation is just as primitive. There are no changes in the places where the infantry is surviving under fire. There are no ready-made concrete structures supplied, you have to do everything yourself, buy building materials yourself, buy equipment yourself, as it was the soldiers' own concern to survive. Russia is much more powerful in building and equipping its defense lines, even being on the offensive. Although we have allocated budgets and PR.
Production of ammunition. Where it is necessary to scale up, there is no implementation of even 10% of the capabilities. Over the past two years, Russia has started producing gunpowder from cellulose and wood from scratch. What about us?
The use of troops. There was no analysis of previous actions at the level of generals and brigadiers, and there is still no analysis. People who do not understand modern tactics, fight by map, are not leaders in the team, who lose people and equipment ineptly, and do not want to learn but only want to make reports and statements that everything is fine and under control, have been promoted to the positions of commanders. And no one at the top is interested in this.
We are proud of our tactical victories, heroism, skill of individual soldiers, professionalism of individual commanders and military units, all of which we have in many places, and that is why the front has been holding for three years. But in a massive war of mobilized armies, we need to scale up decisions and concentrate efforts at the level of the highest military and political leadership.
If we have fewer people, fewer shells, fewer bombs, if we compete only in drones, then we can only create an advantage through better management, organization, and usage.
You don't have to be bigger to win, but you have to be ahead.
However, unfortunately, criminal, immoral, intellectually limited Russia is currently ahead of free, democratic, intellectually and morally powerful Ukraine in terms of the speed and scale of changes and strategic decisions.
And if Zelenskyy really wants to win, not in word but in deed, and not to negotiate with Putin, he must start thinking and making decisions that will allow Ukraine to stay ahead of Russia in strategic decisions.
We have all the possibilities, but Zelenskyy still has no desire to change anything in reality.
