If we want to defeat the enemy and truly save the lives of our soldiers, we must scale up the experience of successful brigades, create divisions on their basis, and promote successful brigade commanders to leadership positions, giving them the right to determine personnel policy.

TOP 10 qualities which are needed for a brigade commander to really hold the frontline:

1. To become a leader for thousands of people, to create a team and to constantly strengthen the combat capability of the brigade.

2. To be responsible for subordinates and the team, to value their lives above your career and ambitions, to support them not only in their successes but also in their mistakes, to punish them only for crimes and lies.

3. Define clear criteria for evaluating commanders of different levels, fairly assess achievements, change people's positions or assign them tasks in accordance with their level of competence, and explain the logic of their personnel decisions.

4. Organize a headquarters and appoint a chief of staff to ensure an uninterrupted process of combat management without manual control, both at the brigade and battalion levels.

5. Establish and strengthen cooperation and harmony in all service branches, attached and adjacent units, volunteers, and civil society organizations.

6. Do not lie in reports to management and do not tolerate lies in reports of subordinates, and punish and dismiss for lying.

7. Be critical of your own actions and decisions, analyze the actions of the brigade first of all, starting with your own problems and the problems of your headquarters, and conduct regular after-action reviews in all units.

8. Search for and attract people to the units, create conditions in the brigade so that most of the subordinates act as recruiters rather than critics and create a good reputation for the brigade.

1. Do not report problems, do not appeal against the decisions of the command, agree with everything, always say that "the situation is tense but under control", "everything is provided, there are no questions".

2. Report personally on the OTG chatterbox daily at 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., no matter whether you slept or not, whether there are battles or not, what problems and concerns you have, the main thing is to sit on the common chatterbox for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.

3. Do not report the real situation, because those who were the first to report the problems are blamed, so the flanks of the neighbors collapse, there are losses, favorable lines are lost, but the main thing is not to be the first to admit that you have problems.

4. Do not take responsibility for subordinates and for the combat capability of the brigade - they told to hold the last point on the map, send everyone there as long as there are still alive and uninjured in-commission status, regardless of the availability of forces and the tactical environment.

5.
