How formation of strike UAV platoon of 13th Brigade "Khartiia" proceeding to destroy enemy UAVs positions

Author:

I received a lot of requests after the post about the creation of a new unit, which "Khartiia" entrusted me to form, and I am very grateful to everyone who contacted me.

In terms of tactics and technology, "Khartiia" has its own significant achievements and gains, some weapons that have no analogues and are worth learning from. But I also contacted my friends - the commanders of the NGU's "Lazar" special forces unit, the 3rd Assault Brigade, the 414th "Magyar Birds" Brigade, the 20th K-2 Regiment, the 427th "Rarog" Regiment, the 2nd "Som" Battalion of the 59th Assault Brigade, 422nd "Luftwaffe" Battalion, in order to establish cooperation and analyse the best experience and practice of destroying Russian drone operators used at the frontline. Thank you all for your support and valuable communication.

I will also communicate with other units to scale up the current experience of our best drone commanders in the direction I have identified.

Manning the platoon and communicating with potential recruits is the main part of the work now, as we have set a tight deadline for acquiring the capabilities to perform tasks.

Among the new recruits are civilians who are being mobilised. There are servicemen of the NGU for whom we managed to agree on a transfer.

A significant part of the new recruits are soldiers from various units of the Defence Forces who left their units without permission for a variety of reasons, but want to continue fighting as part of the "Khartiia".

Several people who went AWOL did not go home, and even immediately moved to live with us to study at the unit while the documentary work on their transfer is underway. It's nice to see such motivation and trust, I really appreciate it. Of course, we immediately provide accommodation, food and a friendly attitude.

After a thorough check, we provide all worthy people with support and attention, the opportunity to continue their service and perform responsible tasks.

Of course, the process of transferring under AWOL takes one to three months, but it is a legal mechanism.

On 30 August, the law enabling legal transfers through AWOL mechanism expires, so we will be actively working in this area until the end of the month.

The Khartiia's lawyer, the HR service, the brigade's chief sergeant are making every effort to facilitate the fastest and most legal registration of people, all candidates quickly receive an action plan and support, and are sent specifically to my platoon. The logistics service and the food service quickly fulfil requests for new people to join the brigade.

We are also training a unit of Latin American drone operators as part of the platoon. I talked to the soldiers of the Latin American Guajiro Company in the "Khartiia", selected 6 candidates from among those who fought in the infantry, have wounds and contusions, and have the ability to pilot, and signed a second contract in the "Khartiia". They train hard, and several of them will definitely become good "Mavic" pilots. They will interact with their comrades in the infantry. Foreign units need to have their own operators, their own mech drivers and signalmen to carry out complex missions autonomously and effectively.

Experienced "Khartiia" operators and engineers are training the pilots, so we will achieve combat capabilities as soon as possible. We need drivers, ammunition loaders, sappers and medics. Special attention to engineers.

Anyone who is interested and has the opportunity to join in is welcome to do so. I am in touch with all the soldiers and recruits, I talk to everyone personally and I am personally responsible for my words.
