About Serhii Tihipko, Forbes and business role model

I suspect that those who have worked as political and economic journalists may have radically different attitudes towards this person.
For me, Tihipko is a person who has fucked up everything in terms of his political career because he has always chosen anything but principles.
I remember him as the absolutely spineless chief of staff to Yanukovych in 2004, who was run by anyone who was not lazy. And he had to explain at briefings why Yanukovych had fallen from the egg.
In 2010, he miraculously revived politically and even came third in the presidential election, only to dissolve the party and become number 3 on the Party of Regions list and be dismissed from the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Policy.
February 2014 was a defining moment for Tihipko as a politician.
He not only surrendered and voted for dictatorial laws. On the day of the executions, the votes of his group were very much needed to save the state. But Tihipko chose to bargain for the post of prime minister. (Read Sonya Koshkina's post) Politician Tihipko was not known anymore.
But he was a good businessman, not hesitating to promote his business even in the district newspapers of Chernihiv region (where he owns 3 agricultural companies).
However, his most famous acquisition in recent years is certainly different: in 2018, "TAS" Group acquired "Plant" Kuznya on Rybalsky", which had previously belonged to the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko. There was a lot of talk, including about umbrella services.
But that's not all about Tihipko's exemplary business model. Two years ago, I came across some materials on the Kniazev case. And there is an episode where Kniazev's accomplice Horetskyi talks to Zhevago. And do you know what they discuss, among other things? How the arrest from the "Rus" Hotel was lifted for Tihipko. Horetskyi directly boasts that he did it bypassing the resistance of the SBI and prosecutors.
Let me explain: the hotel once belonged to the Giner-Babakov group of Russians. But then in 2023, the Shevchenkivskyi Court lifted the arrest and handed it over to Tihipko.
I used to want to write a big article about the fate of these sanctioned assets, but now you'll just find out how Tihipko's role model did it.
The hotel is now owned by a Cyprus offshore company)
So if you are interested in business role models, then... Enjoy!!!
