Local residents and eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions on January 3 in Russian cities of Rostov-on-Don and Kursk.
This is reported by the Russian editorial office of "Radio Svoboda", the governor of Rostov region Vasily Golubev, video from local Russian telegram channels, informs Censor.NЕТ.
In particular, local residents publish photos and videos showing explosions in Russian cities.
The published footage shows flashes in the sky and the sounds of explosions.
The adviser to the mayor of the temporarily occupied Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko also posted a video of explosions in Rostov. He claims that the residents of Rostov started discussing the possible location of the air defense system online.
"Radio Svoboda" also believes that "air defense" is most likely working in Rostov.
Later, the governor of Rostov region Vasily Golubev reacted to the explosions and urged Russians not to panic: "The situation in the Rostov region remains stable, it is under control. I ask all residents to remain calm and not to panic".
It should be noted that since the beginning of the enemy warehouses and other military facilities explosions on the territory of Russia, the Russian authorities try not to comment on the failures of their own army and delegate the right to comment to the Russian Ministry of Defense. As a result, information about explosions on the territory of Russia is spread only by eyewitnesses who send their videos to Telegram or local media.
