Zelenskyy: Grain destroyed by Russian missiles in Odesa region was supposed to be shipped to China. VIDEO
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to Ukrainian citizens at an end of 511th day of full-scale war with Russia.
The corresponding video was published by the presidential press service, Censor.NET reports.
"Throughout the day, we have been paying maximum attention to eliminating the consequences of the Russian terrorists' strike on Odesa, on communities in the region, on Chornomorsk... on our ports... This was perhaps the largest attempt by Russia to inflict pain on Odesa during the full-scale war. Thanks to the air defence system, all our defenders of the sky, the consequences of this strike are still less than they could have been... With each such strike, we appeal to our partners again and again - Ukraine's air shield needs to be strengthened.
This terrorist attack proves that their target is not only Ukraine, not only the lives of our people... The ports that were attacked today stored about a million tonnes of food... This is the volume that should have been delivered to consumer countries in Africa and Asia long ago... In the port terminal that suffered the most from Russian terror last night, 60,000 tonnes of agricultural products were stored, which were intended to be shipped to China... So everyone is affected by this - Russian terror. Everyone in the world should be interested in bringing Russia to justice for terror," Zelenskyy said.
