Ukrainian sappers defused five enemy anti-personnel mines on the way of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission to Zaporizhzhia NPP.

This was reported by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, Censor.NET reports.

"This is one of the stages of today's rotation of IAEA representatives at Zaporizhzhia NPP. The sappers from the units operating in the Zaporizhzhia direction defused five Russian anti-personnel mines on the mission's route," Tarnavsky wrote.

As a reminder, this is the second time in August that mines have been discovered on the IAEA mission 's route.
