Over the past day, Russian invaders attacked 37 settlements in the Kherson region. On the morning of 8 February, the occupiers struck at the central district of Kherson.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
On 7 February, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Mykilske, Naddnipryanske, Inzhenerne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Blahovishchenske, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Ivanivka, Novodmytrivka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, and Oleksandrivka came under hostile fire and air strikes, Novotyanka, Ponyativka, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Monastyrske, Havrylivka, Mykhaylivka, Burhunka, Kachkarivka, Lvove, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Novooleksandrivka, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Shlyakhove, Vesele and the city of Kherson.
"The Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged 2 multi-story buildings and 7 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, and a private car.
One person died and five others were injured as a result of Russian aggression," Prokudin said.
In the early morning, the Russian army attacked the central district of Kherson, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.
"Homes and warehouses were hit. A fire broke out in a private house as a result of an enemy shell hit. Rescuers managed to save a mother and child from the fire," the statement said.
The 33-year-old woman was diagnosed with mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion. Doctors provided her with the necessary assistance. She will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis. The 11-year-old boy is under medical supervision. He has an explosive injury, contusion, and an acute stress reaction.
Another victim was reported. A 57-year-old woman sustained mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries and concussion. She is currently receiving the necessary medical care.
