The first volunteers aged 18 to 24 who signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already received their payments.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
"This project is about decent financial remuneration, professional combat training according to NATO standards, and social guarantees that no other civilian profession offers. Also, after a year of service, you will be able to go abroad, get a higher education for free and take out a mortgage at 0%," the statement said.
As a reminder, on 11 February, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine officially launched the "Contract 18-24" voluntary service format for Ukrainians who are ready to join the Defence Forces for one year.
