Zelenskyy arrives in Finland: meeting with President Stubb is scheduled. PHOTOS (updated)

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived on an official visit to Finland on Tuesday, March 18.

Zelenskyy is expected to meet with Finnish President Alexander Stubb tomorrow, March 19.

The program of Zelenskyy's visit also includes bilateral talks and negotiations between the delegations after the welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace.

A press conference dedicated to Zelenskyy's visit will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. local time.

At the end of the day on Wednesday, Zelenskyy will attend an event at the University of Helsinki, where Stubb will deliver a speech.

Later, the President of Ukraine confirmed his visit to Finland.

"Together with the First Lady, I am on an official visit to our friends and principled allies - Finland. There will be meetings with President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb, Speaker Jussi Halla-Aho and members of parliament, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, government officials and representatives of defense companies," he said.

"Defense support, investments in Ukrainian weapons production, and Ukraine's European integration. Finnish experience in creating a civil defense system and building shelters. Strengthening sanctions against Russia and coordinating efforts to bring the war to a decent end. Europe should be at the negotiating table, and everything related to the security of Europe should be decided together with Europe.

The First Lady's program includes educational cooperation: expansion of the Coalition of Ukrainian Studies and security of the educational space, arrangement of school shelters, exchange of experience on the school catering system, as well as a meeting with business leaders, philanthropists and representatives of the cultural community," Zelenskyy added.
