The Russians said that on the night of 31 March, allegedly Ukrainian drones attacked the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media.

"Last night, air defence forces destroyed 24 UAVs in Kirovsky district. An operational group is working on the spot. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties and no damage to infrastructure," said Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha.

The Shaykovka airfield is located in the Kaluga region, where Tu-22m3 strategic bombers are based and equipped.
