Russian troops shelled Kherson, injuring a pregnant woman and a child.
This was announced by the head of the RMA Oleksandr Prokudin, Censor.NET reports.
"A 31-year-old woman from Kherson and her son, who is almost two years old, were trapped under the rubble when an enemy shell hit their house. The mother covered the child with her own body.
The victims were rescued from the rubble. They are now in hospital, where they are receiving all the necessary medical care," the statement said.
The boy sustained an explosive injury and contusion. A woman, six months pregnant, sustained blast and head injuries.
