Ukraine has good preconditions for further positive development, Merkel says to German investors. VIDEO (in Ukrainian)

German Chancellor Angela Merkel positively evaluated Ukraine's economic perspectives at the Ukrainian-German business forum in Berlin on Friday.

As reported by Censor.NET, Merkel called Ukraine "a good place for economy despite existing asperities", listing its well-developed sectors: rural sector, machinery producing industry, and aircraft industry.
"Salaries, high level of qualification, and large domestic market are good conditions for further positive development," Merkel said in German when addressing the forum's visitors. "Speaking of infrastructure modernization in energy and transport, German enterprises have great possibilities [there -ed.]," she said.

According to Merkel, German Bundeswehr was using Ukrainian Antonovs in its Afghanistan activities, calling the planes "quite reliable."
