"Wild Hornets" develop remote-control technology for STING interceptors. VIDEO
Drone Industry
Ukrainian developers are introducing new technological solutions to counter attack drones, including a remote-control system for STING interceptors that significantly expands their combat employment capabilities.
According to Censor.NET, the "Wild Hornets" team has created the HORNET VISION Ctrl system, which allows an operator to control an interceptor from hundreds of kilometers away from the launch point.
Details about the system
The system has already undergone several months of combat testing on the front line and has demonstrated effective results, including the ability to control a drone from remote locations.
The developers have begun serial deployment of the technology, which will allow crews to control much larger sections of the front — up to 100 km instead of an estimated 20 km.
