Enemy hits minibus in Kherson: nine injured. One person killed and 18 others wounded in past 24 hours (updated). VIDEO

On the morning of 3 April, Russian forces struck a minibus in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Kherson RMA.

"We already know of seven people injured after the enemy dropped explosives from a drone onto a minibus in the Dniprovskyi district at around 8.30 am," said Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Regional Military Administration.

A 19-year-old girl, three women aged 68, 50 and 43, and three men aged 71, 63 and 51 were taken to hospital. All the victims have blast injuries and closed head injuries, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to their arms, legs and torsos.

"According to updated information, the 51-year-old bus driver is in a critical condition. The man sustained multiple injuries to his abdomen and legs. Doctors are fighting for his life," Shanko noted.

Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported an increase in the number of casualties:

"The number of people wounded in this morning's Russian drone attack on a minibus in the Dniprovskyi district has risen to 9.

A 59-year-old man suffered blast trauma and a concussion. He is currently hospitalized.

A 56-year-old woman suffered blast trauma and a shrapnel wound to the head. She will be treated on an outpatient basis," the statement said.

Shelling of the region over the past 24 hours

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region’s settlements, damaging three high-rise buildings and 12 private homes. The occupiers also destroyed a veterinary clinic, a service station and private vehicles.

As a result of the Russian aggression, one person was killed and 18 others were wounded, including one child.
