Maria Savchenko has called on world leaders to save her daughter, Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko from a Russian prison.

"I've already forgotten what a normal sleep is, worrying about my child. Help her out of this prison. On March 3, she declared a "dry" hunger strike, and it's already 5-6 days and threatens a death. I beg you to help free her from prison. Don't fail to take every effort," Maria Savchenko said.

She also addressed the Ukrainian and international journalists. "Tell all the truth! Please, say how Putin's gang is torturing my child in Russia's prisons!" Ukrainian pilot's mother implored.
