Odessa is being prepared for a circular defence. Around the city, the construction of anti-tank trenches and bunkers stretching for several kilometres is nearing completion.

In particular, barbed wire, "dragon's teeth" and "obstacle courses" are being installed.
"Such measures are not a show of bravado, but pre-emptive action to ensure the enemy has no illusions: any attempt at a landing is doomed to failure.
A reliable defence does not increase, but reduces the risk of the enemy advancing here in the foreseeable future!" – noted the Tactical Operations Forces.
