In Russia, the fuel crisis seems to be reaching new heights: now, simply filling up a car evokes emotions comparable to winning the lottery.

According to Censor.NET, a video has been posted online showing a Russian woman unable to hide her joy and happiness after managing to buy 30 litres of petrol at a petrol station.

The woman shares her overwhelming emotions with a friend in the car, calling this day "lucky".

"We’ve got petrol, we’re rich, let’s go!"

Whilst Russian propaganda continues to claim that the "situation is under control", for the rest of its citizens, even 30 litres of petrol are increasingly becoming a rare source of joy.
