In June, in the Pokrovsk urban area, the occupying forces continued their persistent attempts to advance in small infantry groups, as well as to build up their forces and resources.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the press centre of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces.
"However, the effective work of the Special Forces units within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Forces made it possible to successfully counter the enemy and inflict heavier losses on them, particularly in terms of manpower and communications equipment," the statement reads.
Overall, as noted, thanks to the Centre’s operations between 1 and 30 June:
1,703 occupiers were killed or wounded
Destroyed and damaged:
- 71 artillery pieces and armoured vehicles
- 139 lorries and passenger cars
- 54 quad bikes and motorbikes
- 1,151 enemy positions
