"Air fishing" for Russian UAVs: soldiers from 128th Brigade shoot down enemy Mavic drones. VIDEO

A video has been published online showing a dogfight between drones in the skies above the combat zone.

According to Censor.NET, the footage of the successful operation was released by soldiers from the strike drone company of the 2nd Mountain Assault Battalion of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade.

The Ukrainian military uses specially equipped UAVs to intercept and destroy enemy Mavic-type quadcopters in mid-air, hooking onto and disabling the occupiers’ equipment whilst it is in flight.

The published footage captures the preparation of specialised equipment and the successful moments of shooting down Russian reconnaissance and targeting drones.
