The pilot of a Ukrainian Mi-17 helicopter in the Donetsk sector swerved to avoid a Russian FPV drone just a few centimetres from the tail rotor.
According to Censor.NET, the enemy drone, flying via fibre-optic link, came within a hair’s breadth of the Ukrainian army aviation helicopter.
Thanks to the pilot’s manoeuvre, a collision was avoided and the flight continued.
Footage of the dangerous close encounter has been published on social media.
